K-6th Fall Baseball Camp

The Bob Jones High School Baseball coaching staff and players will host a fall pitching and hitting camp on November 7, 9, 14, and 16.  The hitting camp will be from 5:15-6:30pm and the pitching camp will be from 6:30-7:45pm.  The camp will consist of four 1 hour and 15 minute training sessions on Tuesdays

Luttrell Named 2nd Team All-State

Congratulations to Ford Luttrell on being named 2nd Team All-State Utility player by the ASWA for his senior season performance as a pitcher and outfielder.  Luttrell finished with at (5-2) record in 52 innings with 90 strikeouts.  Opposing teams had a batting average of just 0.165 versus the hard throwing right-hander who’s fastball regularly touched

Summer Baseball

Anyone interested in playing on the Bob Jones summer baseball team needs to attend practice on 5/31 (9th/10th) or 6/1 (11th/12th) from 10am-1pm. You must be zoned for Bob Jones and have an up to date physical.  Contact Coach Smith at with any questions.

Bob Jones (19-24) 6-5, James Clemens (18-19) 3-2:  Bob Jones pulled off the three game sweep of crosstown rival, James Clemens, behind the pitching of Freshman Dylan Ray and Junior Brendan Bickleman.  Bob Jones had 16 hits in the doubleheader and scored 11 runs in 6-3 and 5-2 victories to finish the season.  These wins gave

Patriots Dominate Madison Academy on Senior Night

Bob Jones (16-24) 8, 4A #6 Madison Academy 1:  All twelve seniors contributed to the win over the 6th ranked team in 4A on senior night, but the real story was Connor Daly at the plate.  Daly single-handedly destroyed the visiting Mustangs with 2 home runs (grand slam and 2 run) and 6 RBIs.  Other seniors

Patriots Fall to #5 Buckhorn 11-7 and 10-6

Buckhorn (22-8-1) 11-10, Bob Jones (15-24) 7-6:  The visiting 7A #5 Buckhorn Bucks pulled off the sweep over Bob Jones to eliminate the Patriots from playoff contention.  The Patriots finished with 13 runs on 21 hits in two games but it was not enough as the Patriot pitchers struggled to keep Buckhorn off the board as they scored

Patriots Fall in Bottom of 7th to #5 Buckhorn, 5-4

Buckhorn (20-8-1) 5, Bob Jones (15-22) 4:  Buckhorn won in dramatic fashion with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat the visiting Patriots by a score of 5-4 in a 7A Area 8 match up. Bob Jones struck early with a run in the top of the 1st inning after Caden Rose led
